Introduction of the movies

Did you ever wait for a song to end while watching a movie? Do you enjoy the song that comes within a few minutes of the movie more than once? Do these songs make any sense to the story? What do Intro songs actually do?? Let's take a deep look into these kinds of songs in movies.

These songs are more often used for the protagonist's introduction in movies. We usually name these like Introduction songs, opening songs and with some more names that suit the movie. Let's start from the reasons for these songs and things it does to us.

Why is it for?

Introduction songs are usually placed in movies for the stereotypic pattern. It actually adds the weightage of the character in a movie and the actor profile among the people. The lyrics of these songs are basic explanations of the character(actor) or as a tip to life. It is basically meant for Fan's celebrations in the theater.

Any relevance to the story??

Absolutely no relevance to the storyline of the movie. It makes you feel a little tedious when you are not a huge fan of the actor. This will be the first barrier that doesn't get you into the movie. These songs have actually been there for the character build-up in the story. These would commercialize the movie more than others.

Exaggeration !!

While watching a movie with an intro song, we get to know too much about the character. Let me explain with an intro song that we all wanted in the movie, Jagame Thanthiram. We all loved the song "Rakita Rakita" even before the movie was released. When the movie starts with a character introductions Peter, Sivadoss, and then Suruli, Rakita Rakita just exaggerated him a bit more than others. Even though Suruli's character wasn't worth that build-up in that story. It just makes us hype about the character's role in the story.

Makes us think!!!

Agree! Intro songs make us think. We have all been thinking about something while watching the intro song in the movie. Thinking of their dresses, their dance, that location/set, thinking something totally irrelevant to us.

Intro songs when created after understanding the right essence of the movie and avoiding unwanted build-ups, ticks the right box.

As of from common audience view, We would love stupid protagonist that makes changes with us than fan's favourite character of person.
